Mi Band 6 Specifications

Features

The Mi Band 6 as its previous generation works with the Mi Fit app which is available for free on both android & iOS. It can do heart-rate measurements, sleep tracking, sports tracking, show notifications, act as a camera shutter, control your default music player, and has the usual alarm/timer/stopwatch functions. PAI – Personal Activity Intelligence mode and Stress calculations, Breathing exercise, and tracking female cycles are also present like Mi Band 5.

But there is a slight upgrade this time, Band 6 also offers SpO2 measurements and even more sports modes. It improves sleep tracking with SpO2 measurements and breathing quality options, though these two reduce the battery life significantly.

Battery life and charging

The Mi Band 6 has the same 125mAh battery as the Mi Band 5. Surprisingly though after the addition of many features, Xiaomi still promises the same battery life which is around 2 weeks in the normal usage.

The Mi Band 6 requires about 2 hours to recharge from 5% to 100% through the magnetic charger we get in the box.

ProsCons

A worthy upgrade over Mi Band 5?

As per our view, yes the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 surely seems like a worthy upgrade over the Mi Band 5. It has a larger edge-to-edge display, supports SpO2 tracking, and in COVID-times which was absent in Mi band 5. Though there is not any change in design or the strap still we think the added sensors and display could be a reason for upgrading from its previous gen.

Mi band 6 is priced at Rs. 5,999 and you can easily find it Soon in all Xiaomi authorized stores across Nepal.
