OnePlus Phones had been praised mostly because of their own Oxygen OS & Great cameras. OnePlus Nord was one of its successful phones in its midrange and the successor of OnePlus Nord which is the OnePlus Nord 2 has been launched in the Indian market and is soon expected to be launched in the Nepali Market.

Design and build quality

The Nord 2 comes in the same size as well as weight as the first Nord. Its shape really seems identical to the previous Nord. The front glass is flat, the rear piece has curved long sides, the plastic frame is curved, too like we can see on a lot of smartphones these days.  The camera is placed really well which gives recognition from the far sight too.

The OnePlus Nord 2 is wrapped with a fluid AMOLED display which is of 6.43-inches. A Gorilla Glass 5 is keeping the screen safe. The OnePlus Nord 2 also has a display that supports HDR10 and HDR10+.

Battery life

The OnePlus Nord 2 comes with a 4,500 mAh battery which in comparison is about a 10% increase over the first Nord or the previous generation Nord.

In comparison with its previous generation, OnePlus Nord 2 has taken a long jump. One flagship feature of the OnePlus Nord 2 this time is the smartphone comes with a 65W of fast charging capacity. The adapter comes insider the box. Yet OnePlus hasn’t claimed the support of wireless charging or reverse charging support on the Nord 2.

It is part of a tri-eyed setup with an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. A dual-LED dual-tone flash is also around. The smartphone comes with a 32MP of Sony sensor.

The OnePlus Nord 2  is a 5G smartphone that is equipped with the best MediaTek chipset to date. The smartphone is powered by the Density 1200 5G. Here we can expect the phone to be the best in performance in its segment because this Mediatech chipset is compared to the Snapdragon 870 in terms of performance.

OnePlus Nord 2 is a feature-packed phone at its price segment but you have some compromises to make for that price. It handles most of the tasks you want from a high-end smartphone. OnePlus UI has somewhere started to change. The Nord 2 one plus claims to mix a little bit of color os in oxygen OS which is really a disappointment for the people who preferred OnePlus UI the most. Besides, there is no official IP rating on the phone.

If you are ready to compromise these features then OnePlus Nord is the perfect phone for you and is worth the purchase too. The smartphone is priced at Rs.29,999 in India and is expected to launch very soon in Nepal.

OnePlus Nord 2 5G will go on sale in Nepal from July 27 at a starting price of Rs. 59,999 for the 8/128GB memory variant. Likewise, the higher-end 12/256GB costs Rs. 69,999. Both the variant gets 1-year breakage insurance.
